Get your old airgun valued by the experts… for free!

Ever wondered about the worth of that old airgun at the back of your gun cupboard? Or perhaps you’ve recently bequeathed some ancient-looking antique airgun that’s got you scratching your head over its value? Then why not find out a little more by bringing along to one of the free valuation days this October or November to receive expert appraisal by Holt’s, the world’s leading auctioneer of fine modern and antique guns?

The Antiques Roadshow-style valuation days are informal and informative, and are primarily intended as points of consignment to the next sale. Holt’s is also able to carry out valuations for the sake of interest, together with insurance and probate requirements (a charge may be made if required in writing).

Holt’s Senior Valuer Roland Elworthy commented: “We are always keen to hear of family or related provenance; it is often of interest and can have a highly beneficial impact on the value. We will then suggest a realistic catalogue estimate and reserve (if you are minded to sell) together with a likely hammer price.”

Appointments are available between 10am and 5pm. To book, tel: 01485 542822.
