Pundits are tipping a new rifle to make it big on the outdoor competition scene in 2013 – the TM1000 singles-hot precharged pneumatic from Rapid Air Weapons (RAW). Based in the US, RAW is a British-owned airgun-maker with decades of manufacturing experience, and the side-lever TM1000 is already finding a faithful following among FT, HFT and Benchrest shooters around the world – where it’s notching up some very impressive results, to boot.
We’ll be taking a closer look at this new precision rifle – a benchrest-specced version of which is shown here – in an upcoming issue.

At the Crosman Northeastern Regional Field Target Championships in New York last weekend there were a lot of TM1000s in the hands of shooters from the USA, Canada and Venezuela. The other owners that I chatted with all appeared to be quite happy with their rifles so far.
I just bought a TM1000,(last week) Tomorrow Sunday the 27th of October we are having our last CASA Grand Prix. I’m going to shoot it for the first time in Hunter Class. Lets see what “Silver Bullet”” will do.
