The Game Fair is coming

The Game Fair is back celebrating its 58th year by returning to the familiar surroundings of Ragley Hall and its beautifully landscaped Capability Brown grounds this weekend on 29-31 July. The annual event is a shopping and culinary delight and a gathering for visitors passionate about fieldsports, country pursuits and the great British Countryside in all its glory. The Game Fair includes everything from clay shooting to gundog displays, fishing to falconry, show jumping to ferreting, artisan food & drink and shopping galore – And of course it will be a great place to buy and shoot airguns.

Warwickshire’s Ragley Hall is located just off the A435/A46 junction, close to Alcester, and The Game Fair’s itinerary promises a packed programme of attractions for all the family.

This includes a chance to topple targets in the Airgun Experience zone, where the ATEO will be running airgun ranges on which you can try guns from Brocock, BSA, Crosman, Daystate, FX and Gamo – plus speed pistol and bell target shooting in an undercover marquee. Airgunners can expect some great show deals, too – with Scott Country, Thomas Jacks, A1 Decoys, Blade-Tech, The Shooting Party and Global Rifle Sniper Systems among the exhibitors.

Of course, game fairs bring together a whole raft of countryside activities, and Ragley Hall’s will have a plethora to whet the whole family’s appetite. Among the main ring attractions will be falconry and gundog demos, along with hands-on activities that include bushcraft with the Bear Grylls Survival Academy and game cookery with celebrity chef Lesley Waters.
