If you need a hands-free light for close work, such as gutting a rabbit once the night’s drawn in, or merely packing away your gear after an evening’s shooting, a headlamp such as the Streamlight Bandit is definitely the way to go. The Bandit is lightweight and low-profile, and can be worn with a strap as a conventional head torch. Alternatively, you can remove the strap and clip it onto the peak of any baseball-style shooting cap. The weather-resistant Bandit features a large button for easy activation of its three output modes and emergency flash setting. The headlamp is charged with an included Micro-USB cable and has a run time of up to nine hours. The charging port is protected with a rubber plug.
5. Blaser Women’s Jacket
For the more fashion conscious, Blaser’s new ladies “Argali” jacket might cost you a pretty penny, but it will prove a wise investment for the season to come (and many, many more!). A longer cut coat, it features Primaloft insulation, two large front cartridge pockets, a chest pocket, two fleece lined hand warmer pockets, fully adjustable hem and cuffs to keep the warm in and the cold out and a hood (of course). If that’s not enough, there’s an action back for a full range of movement when shooting.
