The Game Fair 2021 – things to do for airgun shooters

The Game Fair 2021 is almost upon us, and there will be plenty of exciting things to see and do for airgun shooters of all disciplines.

Airgun shooters are in for a treat as The Game Fair 2021, Europe’s largest outdoor countryside festival, returns to Ragley Hall in Warwickshire for the fifth time.

Around 120,000 people are expected across the three days from Friday 23 July to Sunday 25 July. Visitors can explore more than 650 exhibitors and activities showcasing all manner of country pursuits, and for the airgun enthusiast, there’ll be plenty to see and do.

Experienced and novice airgunners alike will have the opportunity to visit the BASC airgun range to try out several models, including the new BSA Ultra CLX, which has been designed as a lightweight hunter that’s perfectly suited for shooting from a hide.

Those new to the shooting sports can try their hand against paper targets under the supervision of instructors who will be able to pass on some important pointers about correct gun handling and gun safety. For the more experienced shooter, the BASC range could give them the opportunity to shoot a rifle that they’ve had their eye on as their next potential purchase.

This year’s show will also include a vast array of airguns for sale that will cater for all budgets. If you’re in the market for a new pre-charged rifle, a more traditional break-barrel springer, a fun CO2-powered garden plinker or a section one FAC-rated hunter then Gunmakers’ Row is where they can all be found.

Accessories such as telescopic sights are a vital part of airgun shooting, and the Gunmakers’ section will have them in abundance. And if you’re an airgun hunter who’s looking to take the step from daytime to night time The Game Fair has more thermal and night vision products than ever before.

With five of the world’s top thermal manufacturers in attendance and reputable retailers close by, visitors can get hands on and receive all the information they need before being directed to an exhibitor who’s offering that particular product.
