Top American scope mount manufacturer, BKL – distributed to UK gun shops by Deben – has redesigned its boxes to better reflect its engineering quality. And as you can see here, there’s quite a range from which airgunners can choose.
Because they’re self-centring, these aluminium rings overcome many of the ‘leaning’ scope problems induced by some other mounts. Priced from £21.95, there’s a multitude of 25 and 30mm models – including reach-forward, high, one and two-piece, single and double strap, in silver or black finishes.
There are even riser blocks for tricky scope-mounting tasks (prices start £17.95). New for 2013, BKL has announced multi-position bubble level fitments for 25 and 30mm scopes (inset), plus a screw-in, mount-fitting version, with prices starting at £21.95 – and there’s also a top-of-the-line, fully-adjustable one-piece mount for £65.95.
