A new type of ammo that’s been specially designed to complement the steel BB-firing version of the Lee-Enfield SMLE has been unveiled by The Shooting Party.
Lee Enfield BBGold precision-ground 4.5mm BBs weigh 4.7 grains, and are copper-plated during production to provide optimum corrosion resistance and give them their ‘gold’ colouring. They are supplied in transparent tubs that are both child-proof and spill-proof.
BBGold are highly consistent for weight and size, and while they make the perfect companion to the SMLE, they can be used in any BB gun.
