After delay in being released: Scottish airgun stats reveal stark truth

Following pressure from the BASC, the delayed statistics on Recorded Crimes and Offences Involving Firearms in Scotland for 2013-14 have now been published – and reveal airgun crime represents just 0.06% of overall crime!

BASC Scotland has submitted a Freedom of Information request to the Scottish Government for missing crime statistics which are crucial to the debate on airgun licensing north of the border, citing that “the absence of the most recent statistical evidence at this critical stage is unacceptable.”
