Following pressure from the BASC, the delayed statistics on Recorded Crimes and Offences Involving Firearms in Scotland for 2013-14 have now been published – and reveal airgun crime represents just 0.06% of overall crime!

Scottish police recorded 365 offences in which a firearm was allegedly involved in 2012-13 – down 32 per cent from the 535 recorded in 2011-12
